There are times when you may need to save a website on your hard disk, for browsing it offline. The reasons for this are numerous. For example, you have an unstable and slow Internet connection, but you would like to browse the website in best conditions. Or you want to make sure that you will be able to access the website at any moment, even if it's down or not working properly. For all these problems, WebZIP is the solution.

This Windows application allows you to extract data from any website and even save an entire website on your hard disk, for browsing it offline in the same manner as browsing it online. After loading the application, the user will first need to create a new project. For this, he will need to enter the website address and download method. For the download method, one can use the predefined templates that come with the application.

These templates allow downloading an entire website, the home page or only the webpage header. The user can also create templates from scratch with ease. Besides setting up templates, one can also include certain filters, for excluding certain web pages from being downloaded by the application. After making all these settings, all that's left to do is to schedule the download project to be run at a certain hour. By default, the scheduling option is turned off and the project is set to be run after clicking the Ok button.

During the downloading process, all the website files which are being processed will be displayed in real time inside the interface and the user can even view a graph with the download speed. After the website is downloaded, the user will be able to browse it directly from the interface, as it includes a mini web browser.

Pro:

Cons:
The demo version includes some limitations.
